Compaction Grouting – Long’s Jewelers

Foundation Problem:  A new foundation addition was built for a new retail store in Braintree, Massachusetts.   During construction, a deposit of poor soil was discovered underneath the new foundation and construction was on hold until a solution was implemented.

Foundation Repair:  EFT quickly mobilized and performed compaction grouting to improve the poor subsoils.  Polymer injections were done to target the soils from below the footing to approximately three feet deep.    The project was successfully completed in two days.
