Compaction Grouting – Manchester, NH

Foundation Problem: An abandoned granite block culvert was encountered below a proposed foundation wall for a new True by Hilton hotel in Manchester, New Hampshire. The culvert was in very close proximity to nearby railroad tracks and subsequently could not be excavated and removed. A minimally invasive solution was required to keep the project on schedule.

Foundation Repair: EFT mobilized polymer grouting equipment to the site and infilled the culvert with a polymeric grout, allowing the new foundation to be constructed without any major excavations. The project was successfully completed in a single day.
