Compaction Grouting – Nashua, NH

Settling Foundation Problem:  A loading dock for a Best Buy store in Nashua, New Hampshire was differentially settling.   An approach slab was pitching in the wrong direction, directing rainwater towards the foundation wall.   Water was likely eroding fine grained soils from underneath the foundation wall, compromising the soil matrix.   The store was very busy with deliveries and a minimally invasive solution was required.

Engineered Foundation Technologies performed compaction grouting to help stabilize the settling foundation.   The approach slab was then slabjacked to help restore lost elevation.   A surface drain was installed to collect any misdirected rainwater.   The project was successfully completed in five working days with minimal disruption to the existing business operations.
