Drilled Piles for Foundation Repair

Drilled Piles for Foundation Repair

Settling Foundation Problem:  A residential foundation was built upon 20-feet of fill soils containing a high proportion of boulders/blast rock in Winchester, Massachusetts.   Helical piles and Push piles could not be used due to the buried rocks.

EFT performed ground improvement underneath the foundation wall.   This work would fill in void space within the fill soils and help stabilize them in place.    After the ground improvement was completed, we then drilled micropiles to to the underlying bedrock.   After a 3-week cure for the cement grout, the foundation was then lifted three inches and brought back to level.  The project was successfully completed in 60 working days.
